Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions outline program policies and expectations so your experience stays smooth, safe, and consistent.

  • Private, one-on-one lessons, 30 minutes each, for swimmers ages 2 and up.
  • Lessons are sold in 8-lesson packages and scheduled after payment and waiver completion.
  • If Blue Wave Swim School cancels a lesson, it will be rescheduled or credited.
  • Client cancellations may qualify for a make-up, subject to availability.
  • Refunds are extremely limited and reviewed individually.

Lesson Format

  • Private, one-on-one instruction
  • 30-minute sessions
  • Ages 2 and up
  • No group lessons

Attendance

  • Lessons begin promptly at the scheduled time.
  • Late arrivals will not extend lesson time.
  • Please arrive early and ready to enter the pool.

Payment

  • Payment is required in full before lessons are scheduled.
  • Clients are redirected to a secure online checkout portal to complete payment.
  • Lessons are not reserved until payment and waiver are received.
  • Lesson packages are non-transferable.

Cancellations & Make-Ups

We aim to be reasonable while maintaining fairness and consistency.

Lessons canceled by Blue Wave Swim School (weather, pool issues, or instructor availability) will be rescheduled or credited whenever possible.
  • Client-initiated cancellations may be eligible for a make-up with reasonable notice.
  • Make-up lessons are not guaranteed and depend on availability.
  • Missed lessons without notice may be forfeited.
  • Repeated late cancellations may result in loss of make-up privileges.

Refunds

  • Lesson packages are prepaid and non-refundable once lessons begin.
  • Refunds are not issued for client-initiated cancellations.
  • If Blue Wave Swim School cannot complete purchased lessons, unused lessons may be refunded at the per-lesson rate, at our discretion.

Conduct

  • Lessons may be discontinued if behavior presents a safety risk.
  • Our priority is a calm, safe learning environment.

Medical & Hygiene

  • Please disclose relevant medical conditions at booking.
  • Swimmers should shower and use the restroom before lessons.

Acceptance

By purchasing lessons, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Liability waivers are handled separately and must be signed before scheduling.
